The software developed and sustained is critical for ensuring the US Navy, US Army, US Search and Rescue and our Foreign Militaries customers can quickly and efficiently plan, launch and execute missions against adversaries.

WPS – Weapon Planning System

Weapon Planning Software (WPS) is an umbrella term that covers a collection of software components for the Windows-based Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS). WPS components include the Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) Common Component (CC) which provides mission planning functionality for USAF, USN and FMS weapons. WPS includes the JMPS Target Manager (JTM) CC which provides a target database with import/export capability and provides target data to PGMPS. PGMPS interfaces with the aircraft planning software on JMPS to provide the weapon planning data. WPS also includes the Weapon Data Link (WDL) CC which provides access to data required to initialize radios for Network Enabled Weapon (NEW) weapons.

MQ-28

Uncrewed Collaborative Combat Aircraft manufactured by Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) and designed to team with existing crewed aircraft to provide operational relevance, persistence and survivability in highly contested environments. Tapestry is developing the Mission Planning Unique Planning Component (UPC) based on US DoD Mission Planning frameworks. The UPC provides support for multi-air vehicle flight and Mission Planning with an evolving list of advanced capabilities.

Logistics Command and Control (Log C2)

GDSS: Global Decision Support System

GDSS is an advanced Command and Control (C2) solution that modernizes all aspects of air mobility operations for the U.S. Air Force.

GDSS enhances mission planning and execution monitoring for operations such as airdrop, airlift and refueling. The web-based solution integrates multiple legacy systems into a common computing platform with interfaces to over 40 systems. GDSS averages 3,700 users per day, and enables over 23,000 registered DoD users to see a unified view of the air mobility missions.

GDSS allows users to visualize key aspects of mobility operations, including weather, flight plans, diplomatic clearances and airfield detail to quickly and effectively determine mission status and make decisions. The system is also used for crew and aircraft scheduling and post-mission reporting.

ICODES: Integrated Computerized
Deployment System

ICODES is one of Tapestry’s premier software tools used for military deployment and distribution processes, including conveyance load-planning and yard management. First deployed by the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) in 1997, ICODES enables near real-time collaborative planning and tracking of cargo for aircraft, railcars and trucks/trailers. ICODES has served as the single load capability for the Department of Defense since 2007. Today it serves over 20,000 users as a web-based enterprise technology providing end-to-end supply chain visibility for cargo load plans, including distribution forecasting and planning for the United States Department of Defense and for allied nations and commercial shippers.

SMS: Single Mobility System

More than 18,000 users worldwide rely on SMS as their entry point into the defense transportation system. The enterprise web- based system tracks the U.S. military’s deployed equipment and personnel on land, air and sea, providing aggregated reporting of cargo and passenger movements.
SMS is used from unit-level to headquarters for situational awareness, predictive analysis and sustainment data for real-world operations and contingency/exercise planning.
