Miro Technologies, the leading aftermarket provider of advanced software solutions for defense logistics, announced today the release of GOLDesp Version 11.5. This latest version of Miro’s successful “Enterprise Service Platform” includes key feature enhancements designed to provide planners, maintainers and logisticians with the desktop tools they need to optimize maintenance and supply management of complex military assets.
“GOLDesp 11.5 builds on the industry-leading supply chain management functionality of previous versions,” said Vincent Monteparte, President & CEO, Miro Technologies. “We are pleased that customers will have the tools they need to manage and streamline MRO, supply and PBL programs in GOLDesp.”
Version 11.5 (v11.5) incorporates a wide variety of functionality enhancements across multiple GOLDesp modules including Supply/Material, Maintenance and MILS. The updated Maintenance module features new Web 2.0 screens for work recording, workflow, and engineering management. The Work Order desktop now provides visibility of associated Engineering Orders. Component structures are displayed in a graphical tree format in a new Structure Viewer that gives users the ability to remove and install components from the structure. Planners will also appreciate the new capabilities inherent in the new Status Board and long-range maintenance planning inquiry screens.
New features in the Supply/Material module provide supply managers with improved visibility of the status of shipments, better kitting assembly capabilities, and new disposition scheduling functionality. A new Item Workbench will serve as the focal point for item transactions in v11.5, and a new Pick List desktop facilitates optimization of an inventory control/distribution organization in the prioritization, selection and execution of inventory picks.
The MILS (MILSTRIP – Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures) module also gets new Web 2.0 screens in v11.5 and includes a new MILS Requisitioner desktop for managing MILS orders. Mission Capability (MICAP) email alerts are now available to users to better support Inventory Control Point MILS functionality. Supply managers also now receive alerts when inventory balances reach zero as a result of any disposition-type transaction.
