EAGLE enables optimal video and audio capture
using commercially available state-of-the-art technologies. Eagle
is used primarily in supporting the Exercise Control and After
Action Report (AAR) requirements of urban combat training
events.

EAGLE manages exercise training information
that allows for rapid development of AAR products, specifically
addressing the complex interactions of Marines engaged in
counterinsurgency, stability and support operations (SASO) and
Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (IED) training for military
operations in urban terrain.
EAGLE's mission is to combine multiple video,
audio and Data Collection System (DCS) sensor feeds into AARs for
immediate training enhancement and "take-home" packages.
EAGLE produces materials for a quality AAR
ensuring key events are captured, cataloged, and rapidly retrieved
for use in on-site AARs. EAGLE also has the ability to track
training with imported Master Scenario Events Lists
(MSEL).
EAGLE's goal is to provide the opportunity for
Marines and their leaders to improve combat and support skills for
the individual and unit.
EAGLE provides the Tactical Video Capture
System (TVCS) interface to the United States Marine Corps (USMC)
Enhanced Data Collection System (DCS) for managing and tracking
exercise activity, and integrating video and audio into an on-site
AAR.
