Tapestry Solutions Awarded Task to Support LOGTECOE TDC

SAN DIEGO, CA Jun. 12, 2007 Tapestry Solutions was awarded the task to support the overall methodology of conducting logistics operations in a joint operation environment with the United States Marine Corps’ Logistics Training & Education Center of Excellence (LOGTECOE) at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Tapestry will provide an education and training capability at LOGTECOE’s Tactical Decision Center (TDC) that will enable their students to perform logistics functions using logistics command and control systems in a simulated logistics operations center environment.

Tapestry will utilize their Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM) to stimulate real world Command and Control Systems to include the Marine’s logistics command and control system, Battle Command Sustainment Support System (BCS3). This architecture allows logisticians to make decisions in a simulated, deployed Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) combat environment. In addition, Tapestry will provide exercise assistance planning tasks and exercise support tasks.

Sam DeFord, Chief Operating Officer stated, "We are bringing together software, expert logisticians and an extensive combat theater experienced team to assist the US Marine Corps in training their leaders. This training will cover a wide spectrum of simulated command post exercises at all combat service support element levels. The Marine Corps Combat Support Schools Tactical Decision Center is a facility designed to support the training of students and Marines to enhance their decision making to ensure logistics support to deployed forces, maintain In-Transit Visibility on transportation assets and commodities, manage distribution of logistics support assets, and become familiar and proficient with linked and integrated USMC logistics command and control systems.
