Boeing Completes Acquisition of Tapestry Solutions

BOEING COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF TAPESTRY SOLUTIONS

ST. LOUIS, MO Nov. 06, 2008 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] has completed its acquisition of Tapestry Solutions, a San Diego-based company specializing in services and software systems that improve the tracking and distribution of equipment, spare parts and personnel for the U.S. Department of Defense and other government and non-government agencies. Tapestry will operate within Boeing Integrated Defense Systems'' Global Services & Support unit. The acquisition, announced on Sept. 26, 2008, is part of Boeing''s strategy to expand in the supply chain and logistics command and control markets. Terms of the cash transaction have not been disclosed.
